I turned to Funky Friends Factory again to find ideas for group gifts for Christmas again. I made Slush and Ginger for my quartet, and MM’s family, and those turned out great. I also found Christ Mouse, and decided that he would be made for a few women that I go to lunch with! He’s just so darn cute!
I ended up making quite a few of him. Four for my lunch ladies, and another four for work ladies. And, because I made a draft, I have one of my own!
I ended up using a bundle of fat quarters I’d purchased on a whim while getting fabric for other projects for the first set of mice I made for my lunch peeps. For the others, I went back specifically for fabric, and found this cute peppermint candy print. I love it, boy did it work with the tan fleece!
I’ll admit, this picture doesn’t really do him justice – I realized I didn’t take a good up close picture of one of the mice until I was putting them in envelopes to send to my coworkers.
That being said, one of my coworkers sent me a picture of him hanging in her house, so I can share that with you here!
Such a cutie!
