I didn’t make it into my craft room.
Yesterday was spent running errands, then sitting on my butt watching TV for the rest of the day. It was one of those dreary, rainy, cold days, and while I really wanted to fully participate in Fitbit’s Goal Day, I just didn’t move enough. And I had such plans!
Today, however, MM and I walked over 4 miles, made salads and chicken and rice for the rest of the week, and I decided to try a new recipe for the week’s dinners (enchilada soup, while fantastic, has gotten just a little old).
MM loves red meat, so I thought I’d try something called Creamy Mushroom Asiago Beef. It wasn’t terribly difficult, though it took more time than I thought it would.
Just in case you’re asking – why isn’t this being written as one of your pages?
Well, because I’m not a huge fan of it yet. I think it has potential, but I haven’t figured out what to do about it yet. I’m thinking about changing the type of meat that it uses, and possible upping the seasoning. All in all, it was pretty bland, and the meat didn’t fall apart as advertised.
So, until I get it to the point where I like it, I’m not going to create a page about it. 🙂
Next week is a long weekend, and I hope to use it well. I’m giving this weekend up as the last gasp of jet lag induced listlessness, and will push to actually get my energy up!
So I ask you, dear friends – what should I work on next week? Sewing project (if so, what?), or more recipes?
Thoughts?
More later!
