Yuck.
I picked up this book through Book of the Month, but it was long enough ago that I have no idea what month it was. I’ve enjoyed the Peter Pan story, though I’ll be honest that I’ve really only seen the films/musicals. Disney’s Peter Pan, Hook, Peter Pan the musical, Finding Neverland… I own the book based on the play by J.M. Barrie, but I haven’t gotten around to reading it. I thought this book would be an interesting take on the story, and having read things like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I was game for a different take.
Boy, was I WRONG. Spoilers ahead, because I can’t talk about this book without going into details.
