It’s been a couple months since I’ve posted anything here, and there’s a good reason.  Lots of work stuff (reason 1), but really the reason is because MM and I were preparing to take P (MIL) on a trip to Italy.  Those two months were busy with making sure we had all our ducks in a row for our trip, and then the trip itself.

And now we’re back.  A good time was had, many pictures were taken, laundry has been completed, emails have been dug through, and jet lag is subsiding.

So that means it’s time to get back to routine.

I need to straighten up the craft room again, since it received some items that had been hanging out on the first floor.  Those things are now on the craft table, and need to be taken care of.  That’s the first step.

Next step is to figure out what project is next.  I’ve talked about them before, but I’m looking at a stand mixer cover, a clutch-style bag that was given to me by a China colleague, and various other things, including stuffed animals for current nephew, and upcoming nephew (going to be an aunt again!).

Step 3 is locating the appropriate materials for whichever project I decide to work on.

Step 4 will be actually doing the project.

Now.  While I’m intending to go down to the craft room this weekend to get SOMETHING, ANYTHING done, I also am working on a gift for a family member, which requires me to sit in front of a computer for a while.  I would really like to get that project done before moving on to other things, but I’m also going to need to have input from family members to finish it.

Therefore, I’m giving myself something else to focus on while I wait for that input (to be clear, I haven’t asked for the input yet, but plan to do so shortly, just in case those family members are reading this).
