I am shocked, SHOCKED, that you don’t believe me that I’ve done anything in my craft room in months.  🙂

Just kidding.  I totally haven’t done anything in the craft room lately.  I do have plans.  For example, MM would like a satchel-type bag to take on our next European trip (scheduled for August).  I’m going to have to create the pattern by myself, as he really likes the one that I have, which is going to take me a little while to make sure that I can trace the shape correctly, and I’ll have to mentally break down the one that I have, since I’m not going to destroy mine.

But why haven’t I been in the craft room?  Because it’s been gorgeous almost every weekend here, and I’m either spending quiet time outside on the deck, or doing outside things, like re-potting house plants, etc.  This weekend was spent on a really long walk in the morning to a shopping area nearby to pick up some bird seed and such, followed by me getting the “hair-brained” idea to clean out the broom closet and organize it.  This resulted in a long trip out to a few stores to pick up supplies to do so, then a grocery trip to get supplies for the week.  So, now the broom closet is reorganized, and this morning MM and I continued our typical Sunday routine of making lunches and dinners for the rest of the week.

Laundry is being done, and I’m cleaning up the house a bit from the week of not wanting to be in my house.  But.  On my list for this week is getting downstairs to straighten up the craft table so that I can get moving on the satchel.  If I can get that done today, so much the better.

First, though, I need to make Orange Chicken and Rice, pasta dough for dinner tonight, finish the Enchilada Soup, and keep the laundry going, thanks to help from MM….
