The problem is…

when you work with lush fleece, and do loads of laundry.

My sheets and towels now have extra fuzz!

I hit the fabric store yesterday morning to get supplies for those two projects I mentioned in my last post.  Luckily for me, they were having quite the sale in the morning, and I came home with much, much more than I had planned.  That “more” consisted of four colors of what they call lush fleece – the touchy-feely kind of fleece that just makes you want to touch it for hours and make cozy things out of it.  Mainly, blankets.

For me, however, that means stuffed animals for my family.

That also means, lots of pieces to cut out.  Which leads to fuzz flying through the air with the greatest of ease.

It lands everywhere – the cutting/sewing table, the floor, the sewing machine, my hair, my clothes… you name it!  And it transfers, too.

Specifically, to my laundry.  I’m not sure MM is going to be too happy with the addition of fleece fuzz to the bed.  🙂

Guess I should have read this website before I started working with the comfy fabric.  Next time, Gadget.  Next time!

Still, the project I’m working out is going to be cute as a button.  Once again, I’ve forgotten to take a multitude of pictures, but I have a feeling, I’ll be making another of these animals in the future, just for myself.  And I’ll make sure to take pictures when I do!

For those of you in the States, I hope you have a safe, exciting, happy Independence Day!
