I went on a trip with a friend of mine who we’ll call CS and a friend of hers to an island recently, and within a week, she’d put together a scrapbook of the whole experience, and made it available to both of us.  She gathered pictures that all three of us had taken of the whole weekend, and put it all together in that amount of time.  It was incredibly well done, and just made something very clear to me.

I want to be her.  🙂  ‘Cause who wouldn’t want to be?

Okay, okay, not exactly like her.  If I was, we’d have to share a husband, and while I think hers is a sweetheart, I’m not giving mine up for anything!

Also, she’s far, far too healthy and motivated for me.  I don’t have that kind of stamina.

So, instead, I’ll settle to get my butt in gear and work on the stacks of scrapbooks that I should have been working on in past years.

I’ve switched from physically creating scrapbooks shortly after creating one for my parents following an Ireland trip.  That was in 2014.  I used a trip to Russia with a chorus of mine to get used to digital scrapbooking, and since it worked out so well, I’m pretty much exclusively digital now.  I’ve completed a few beyond the Russia trip.  Our honeymoon, a gift for my grandfather, a Valentine’s day gift to MM, and most recently, a trip MM and I took to Chicago (he surprised me – it was incredibly sweet, and desperately needed).

All of the above have been ordered, and are now in our house!

I’m done with a book from the France trip last year, but haven’t ordered it yet.  I’ve also created a book for the Italy trip earlier this year, though I’m looking to get caption input from MM, since he’s such a good story teller.  Same goes for the Italy trip from last year with MM’s mother, but it’s almost done, too.  I decided to go ahead and create an Ireland book for myself, since I couldn’t make a copy of the one I made for my parents, and I think that one’s finished as well.

I’m feeling incredibly productive in this realm, though I’m not going to order most of these until I either have a coupon or a good reason to.  🙂

When I can’t sit in my desk chair anymore, I head to my bedroom to do some much needed purging and cleaning.  I’m pretty happy with the results, to there’s still some work to do.

Tonight?  I plan on resting – which may include watching a movie I’ve seen dozens of times with MM.
