Good Intentions

I’ve just completed the 7th week of working from home exclusively! It’s been a little bizarre to be home for such a solid block for so long (working from home once a week is not unusual), but there are some benefits. No more commute time! I thought that would give me a bit more down time in the mornings and evenings, but it’s been far to easy to just go straight to work… The result is that I haven’t been experimenting as much with things in the kitchen or craft room as I had hoped.

Still, I’ve tried quite a few new recipes! I’ve been absolutely crappy at documenting them, though. Here’s my attempt at remembering them (and where I found them):

  • Detroit-Style Pizza – Serious Eats
  • Tomato Sauce with Onion and Butter – Marcella Hazan
  • Glazed spiral ham – Taste of Home
  • Ham, cheese and potato casserole
  • Yeast raised donuts – Serious Eats
  • Dijon roasted potatoes – Tasteful Selections
  • Sourdough starter – King Arthur Flour
  • Rustic Sourdough Bread – King Arthur Flour
  • Sourdough waffles – Serious Eats
  • Pasta a’Limone – Serious Eats
  • Olio Bread – Me

And… none of them have been documented. I have some pictures, but I may have to make things again so that better pictures can be taken.

I’d been irritated with myself for not trying new things in the kitchen, and for repeating recipes so often (we’ve had red-wine marinated tenderloin and dijon potatoes no less than 4 times in the past two months – what can I say? It’s really tasty!), but now that I look back at that list, I’m not as disappointed.

But now it’s time to get some of those posted for you. lovely readers… And so I ask you – which of the list should I start with?
