It’s the beginning of March! And that means I go back to my bullet journal to create new pages of calendars, trackers, and ways to remind myself to be grateful.

I was fooled as a kid, probably by myself, that the beginning of March was when Spring started. LIES! So, in my older age, I concentrate on the fact that St. Patrick’s day is in this month – not necessarily the drinking part (though Jameson, Ginger Ale, and Lime is a great beverage), but rather the shamrocks, four leaf clovers, the rainbows, the luck, and the HOPE!

Did you know the original flag of Ireland was a light blue color with a golden harp in the center? I knew I loved blue for a reason…

For this month, I mainly focused on the clovers, knots, Claddagh, and Celtic fonts, not to mention the giant rainbow near the end of my pages. It took me a while to get comfortable drawing the knots, though. I worked on it for days before actually drawing it in the journal itself.

In any case, enjoy the wee bit o’Irish this month!

What is your favorite thing about the month of March?
