This weekend I decided to start working on the KitchenAid Mixer cover.  I’m using a tutorial I found on Pinterest, but really I’m only using the tutorial for the pattern and the list of materials.

The tutorial tells you to quilt the materials together, and to be honest, after doing so, I’m not a huge fan of quilting.  Or maybe I’m just not used to it.

I’m about half done with the project, getting it done to the point where I could try to put it on my mixer for sizing.  I think I’m going to put together a page for it, but be warned – I didn’t take pictures to start out with…  🙂

Quilting – yes or no?
