Weekend travel:
MM and I went on a short adventure yesterday, traveling out to a farm to get our hands on some raw honey.  A friend of his brought a large jar over one of the last time he came by, and after getting past the difference between it and the honey we’d normally get at the grocery store, it was a hit with MM.

It took a while to get through the jar, since all it was used for was tea, but he decided he wanted more when he got near the end.

The trip was super quick, since the farm was only about 30 minutes from home, and MM had alerted them that we were coming.  But, since MM and I tend to be homebodies (with the exception of work and Europe travel), I’d call that an adventure.

New Recipes:
I mentioned in a previous post that I’d want to make either a different roast chicken recipe, or pot roast braised in red wine – the pot roast won the coin toss, and that’s what I made yesterday.  I didn’t take any pictures, and there are some things I need to tweak, so I’ll plan on doing that the next time around, creating a page for the recipe in the process.  Stay tuned for that!

US Travel:
MM has been doing more traveling for work in the past month, spending almost every other week away from home since January.  It’s not something that either of us like immensely, but a benefit to that is that I’ll be able to meet him in NYC!  I’ve been there before, but it’s been a long time, and he’s never been there.  If you have any suggestions, feel free to share!

Europe Travel:
We head to Italy in May, and this time, we’re going to head south of Rome instead of north into Tuscany.  I’ve relied on the help of a friend who currently lives in the area for some tips of what to see and do, and I hope to someday get off my butt and write up a couple pages on travel in Italy.

Time Travel:
Apparently, we skipped an hour last night, and are now living in the future.  I have to say – so far, not really a fan.  I’m not sure how I’ll handle it tomorrow, either…  🙂
