Goals for 2019

As is typical for this time of year (though I guess I’m fairly late), it’s time to put some new goals down for the year.

Already you know of the Movie Challenge that MM and I are taking on. So far, we’ve watched 6 movies for the year, which means we’re ahead of schedule (though we haven’t made too much of a dent in the original list). We are pretty consistently rating and reviewing every movie we’ve seen so far, so go over to that page to check out what we’ve watched. Even comment on it if you like. 🙂

But, for the rest of my goals…

  1. Sewing
    1. Recreate friend’s Riviera bag
    2. Create large bag for gift transport
    3. Create at least one household item, such as a table runner for the piano
    4. Complete at least one project in the half finished bin
  2. Food
    1. 20 new recipes, 5 of which must highlight an ingredient I don’t prefer
  3. Books
    1. Read 52 books this year

And so, I move toward those goals. Already, I’ve crossed a couple off of my list (the Riviera bag has been recreated and given to the friend, two new recipes have been made, though not posted, because I didn’t like the way they turned out and want to change one of them, and two books have been read), so I feel that’s a good start!

What are your crafty, foodie, read-y goals this year?

  1. Read 52 books? I don’t think I read 52 books in my entire lifetime. I admire your effort. I couldn’t do it. Have fun!
