I was in between books, and looking for something that would get me back into reading when I saw that my good “friend” Nora had just released one of her non-series books.  I hadn’t heard of Identity yet, but given the fact that I’ve almost always enjoyed books by this particular author, I quickly snapped it up and got to reading.

As expected, the book sucked me in and wouldn’t let me stop reading.  While it does follow what people would call a “formula,” it kept me on my toes, trying to figure out when things were going to happen.  I really enjoyed the main character, Morgan, and I got a kick out of her friends and family.  Morgan’s character growth made sense to me, and her decisions and motivations lined up with what we know about her.

I really, really enjoyed this book.  I had so much fun reading about how Morgan adjusts to the changes in her life plans, how she navigated a new relationship, and of course the end when everything resolves.  I knew that there was a Happily Ever After coming my way, which made it possible for me to settle so deeply into the story and the interactions between the characters that nothing else mattered while I was reading the book.  Which led me to read another two HEA books in rapid succession, each of which were just as enjoyable!

Sometimes all it takes is remembering what you’ve had fun reading, and coming back home.  🙂
